Rednotes the best app for indie blender/motiondesign content rnow, ig if you only want to see famous ppl. Tiktok has the worst algorithim by far, never see other people's 3d stuff even popular people and it's the main hobby I seek out on these platforms. Worst algorithim, at least it made it easy to stop using it.

Youve prob tried everything but have you tried modafinil, was hyped up as a limitless pill (is nowhere near it ofch) but you dont feel sleepy on it and thats what the army uses it for or used it for at some point.

I can vouch that it works, doesnt feel like a stimulant like adderal or energy drinks, just don't feel sleepy yet can sleep if you choose to.

English is my 2nd language is a great excuse when I don't feel like talking correctly. Then it suddenly becomes impressive to communicate.

I will never bother to use correct grammer for a comment section, I got my degree and my remote job involves checking and using correct grammar all day. I am not doing that elsewhere.

The highest tier llms are def superior, you can use try them free at least once a day for a response, they use code more and more to accomplish their goals and actually show their work, widgets too, lots of suprisingly decent stuff for education, like a virtual textbook, I wouldnt pay for it rnow, but in a few years it might actually be decent and accurate 99% of the time when it comes to college level assignments while teaching you how to do them and showing the work. The widgets are kinda wild, they feel like professional, like theyd be built into an online textbook, actually helpful, using particles and sht, kinda like old flash games but for education

All you need for games can be grabbed from flathub, like what you need to grab ge proton, that and steam you are mostly set. I also use faugus launcher every once in a while. All distros support flathub, id worry more about what de you want since thats the real commitment. Marginal differences in actual usage if any, like being on bazzite, cachyos, or mint, I use the same exact apps, installed different ways sometimes.

My only 2 issues with bazzite has been that it names the computer bazzite, so my handheld with bazzite can't use an app to share its mouse across monitors since they have the same usernames and it causes issues and my amazon handbrake doesnt work, seems to be a bazzite issue and not all of linux since their are workarounds that work for others not using bazzite.

Money isnt that relevant directly, streaming is good for optics, you get a lot of streams you are more likely to get live shows and have your music pushed out to others that will go there? It's good for discoverability and credibility.

Whenever my main pc is running some heavy game that requires all resources, I throw my handheld on the 2nd monitor, just swapping inputs between bluetooth and wireless to go back and forth when necessary. Works great for multitasking. Think it's nice when my handheld is being used for gaming, my pc is in productivity mode, and when I want to play something heavier my handheld becomes the productivity pc (I sometimes do remote work and keep games running on my main pc for when I take breaks so I don't have to reload the game.)

Obviously a benefit that can come from any mini pc, backup laptop, etc. but in the case of handhelds, mine is never just sitting around collecting dust, if I'm gaming on my PC, it is doing my regular pc tasks like webbrowsing, streaming, etc. and if I'm using my main pc for productivity it becomes my gaming break device again. Just not something I considered as I was worried if I got back into heavier gaming on my pc it would become a waste of money.

Wallstreetbets got taken away from this user and handed to the reddit community owner.

Could be a hero, concept, series, team, etc. any company. I really like the h dial from dc and wish it was used more.

I just binged millarworld, ngl I hated most of it, superior, starlight and huck were the main standout exceptions. I did like big game, felt like it retroactively made his previous books better and had a good ending. Not the biggest fan of the new huck (huck gets cucked) and nemesis books that have come after.

Not sure what to start next, was nice to have a reading order. Read the valiant universe 2012 reboot before this. Probably going to do marvel/dc next, tried to start with greenlantern after kickass to read something light at emerald city. A few issues later I hit the fridge and had to stop reading, not sure what's worse, that or what happens to katie in kickass.

Going for real id, I think I can go in the appointment line since it says to do that, I preverified the documents. I went to madera years ago and my parents have always went there because they say it's the fastest, tho that is just an assumption at this point since it has been many years since they tried elsewhere.

What's the one with the most tolerable wait? Like seating area or ability to wait outside and come back? Do they all have appointment lines, and I just want to make sure I can enter that line without an appointment.

If you tried it in the past and had issues, try it again. It's the best ui for using lemmy imo. I had been using arctic for a while but was getting bugs with clicking on notifications not leading me to the correct comment.

The testflight has experimental piefed support, don't think notifications work there yet.

Voyager also has piefed support, and is my second favorite right now. Mlem is also stable, but i'm not a fan of the look no matter how I customize it.

I feel like I'm googling the wrong thing since I'm mostly getting start menu replacements and not a supplement. I want to click the ps button or a keyboard button and have a grid pop up over my apps that displays pinned apps/games that I can scroll through and launch with my controller or keyboard. Does something like that this exist?

Been using the CLI more and more and for whatever reason it gives me more dopamine than using apps with a GUI and I'm curious about what else is out there since I was a windows user til 6 months ago.

Discovering ish and the ability to use alpine linux on my iphone, also has me curious if there is anything useful/fun out there that isn't openssh, ranger, and ffmpeg. (a-shell is still updated and comes with those two by default but doesn't have access to alpine repo and apk, uses its own iphone based thing) Tho im curious about cli tools/apps in general to use on my pc or over ssh, not just those that could be installed on my phone

I mostly use ffmpeg to convert video and compress stuff for size limits (so I can convert before sftp when away from my pc after the render finishes) Ranger file manager on phone since it can easily exit at a path, and yazi with the shell script that lets it exit at whatever path your on on pc.

Will update this list as people comment.

  • Conversion/Compression: ffmpeg
  • Email: mutt, neomut
  • File management: mc, nnn, ranger, yazi, sfm
  • File editor: vim, neovim
  • Git: lazygit
  • Piracy: ani-cli (anime) rip (music)
  • Pdf Management: pdftk (pdftk-idk, or stapler)
  • Python: rich, pythondialog, textual
  • Docker management : lazydocker
  • Performance monitor: btop, nvtop (nvidia), ncdu (disk usage)
  • Network management: nmtui
  • Web browser : browsh (firefox backend)
  • Video downloader: yt-dlp
  • Shell scripts: dialog, whiptail
  • Misc: netpbm (plaintext image creation) If you can't comment this post seems to be bugged for me at least, says I've deleted it and I can't reply to anyone.

Like the window thumbnails gnome extension? Prob the main thing keeping me on gnome right now.

How accurate are the dates for upcoming releases typically?
