The US and Iran cannot both lose this war, those two things literally cannot be true at once. The US winning entails them gaining a vice grip on the entire Middle East and the total collapse of civil society in Iran. Iran would absolutely not come out of that with a progressive government, we would see the entire country splinter and fall into the hands of warlords.
Iran winning entails the expulsion of the US military from much of the Middle East, and it severely degrades the empire's ability to protect Israel and enable the extermination of the Palestinian people. It is extremely crystal clear that Iran winning is the best outcome for all of humanity.
Also how the fuck did you even come to the conclusion that Iran fighting in this war is theologically motivated after the US started the war by murdering their head of state and hundreds of school children in an unprovoked attack during negotiations?

This was not a revanchist land grab nor was it resource motivated, the regions Russia annexed were for the most part already in a several years long civil war against the post Maidan coup government which was carrying out a campaign to ethnically cleanse eastern Ukraine of Russian speakers. As for why the US is fickle with military support, I imagine it's because the US is very aware by now Ukraine will lose this war and simply does not see a reason to continue wasting weaponry when the war has already served its purpose in destroying Russian relations with Europe and putting a newly minted failed state on Russia's border for it to deal with in perpetuity.
Ukraine joining NATO has been Russia's clearly stated red line for decades, guarantees for the non-expansion of NATO into the former Eastern Bloc, Ukraine chief among them, was even a major condition for the Soviet Union to agree to dissolve. Then NATO and the US organized the Maidan coup, and Ukraine started ethnically cleansing Eastern Ukraine of Russian speakers to the point that Ukraine was in a civil war with the breakaway republics.
Russia tried to deal with this diplomatically for many years through every channel at their disposal, but as it turned out NATO, the US, and Ukraine were negotiating entirely in bad faith to give Ukraine time to militarize. This war was several decades in the making and Russia was not at all the aggressor, even if they severely miscalculated what the cost of the war would be.

If so, I think I see the proof by induction on n, but the question just says a_i is defined for each 1<=i<=n-1, not that it is defined in that way. Is the question just overly vague or am I missing something obvious?
If only a_n is defined as the greatest integer such that the sum from 0 to n of each a_i/k^i is <=x, then I think there are counterexamples to the hypothesis, right?
Like if x=0.32, k=2, n=2, then a_0=0, and the inequality is satisfied by a_1 = 2 > k-1 = 1 and a_2 = -3 < 0.

I can't help but wonder whether this guy has just been a cynical liar from the start, if all the Democratic operatives running his general election campaign are just exceptionally good at performing rapid brainworm installations, or if the CIA simply took him into a room and explained what they'd do to him and his family if he doesn't toe the line.
That last one is particularly scary because I had the same thought when Bernie actually somehow got worse on Palestine than he was during his 2020 campaign. That was despite him having no intention of running for president again and also having the safest senate seat in this country. What was he afraid of?
Like maybe every left leaning politician in this country receives credible death threats from the CIA as par for the course on certain matters of foreign policy.

I'm currently down to half my normal dose rationing these tablets in case things don't work out with fundraising for my medical care that really should be free but isn't. Living in this genocidal farce of a settler-slaver colony calling itself America is great, isn't it?

My thoughts exactly when it comes to people who don't seem to mind advertising in general. They come in a couple varieties. On the one hand you have all the "i just tune out the ads" or the "im too smart to be influenced by marketing" types. The cope involved in these cases is sad more than anything else. On the other hand, you have the truly deranged who find advertisements useful. The kind of people who somehow appreciate trackers and spyware because it means they get advertisements "more relevant to their interests" as if that's a good thing. Those types fucking scare the shit out of me.
I have ads so thoroughly purged out of my life that it is legitimately fucking mind blowing to me whenever I visit someone who watches tv. Every single time I'm just repeatedly blindsided by the fact that this atrocity is the norm. They are bombarded with the same annoying-ass commercials every five to ten minutes continuously, 24/7. It's as if they have an IV setup pushing pure corporate propaganda straight into their veins. They can't watch a single episode of a tv show without incessantly being interrupted by a dozen car insurance ads per hour. Worse yet are the fucking prescription drug advertisements.
In a just world this type of shit would be thoroughly outlawed. Anyone involved in creating ads should be charged with crimes against humanity. They are doing actual mass brainwashing. There is no way sitting through this day in and day out doesn't cause significant psychological damage.
