Another commentee has already said that Artemis is a political stunt. I believe it's worked magnificently. Space travel is being used to whitewash USA's reputation and at the same time display the US' continued military and technological dominance. It's another message to all other countries in the world that they are going to stay slaves to US imperialism and dictatorship.

As shown by the comments here, the USians have no problem with their government if they get to see shiny new nerd pictures.

I just use docker compose for everything, i like how everything pertaining to a service can be contained within a single directory and there's minimal file permission management. Also lots of services need their own databases which might conflict on system installs.

The flag -y refreshes the package list (like apt update). For some reason, you use the flag -yy to force it to clear the whole package list and redownload everything.

To allow package downgrades when upgrading you use -uu.

These are very commonly suggested fixes to arch package management problems, for example when you leave your arch install to suit for too long, it will be impossible to update it because of dependency problems. So you google it and people are saying to run "pacman -SSyyuu" or other such commands.

Those additional options should be their own flags, command line flags should be idempotent (it should flip a switch on, doing it multiple times shouldn't change anything).

Pacman flags not being idempotent (-SS, yy, uu and such existing) is so unbelievably horrible that I can't use arch just because of it.

Semantic round brackets make typst impossible to use for me. If it had curlies instead it would be great.

Only in warm climates, definitely not "almost all" cultures.

This is just not true. The normal limit we have here means a limit would have to exist from both directions and they should be equal. They're not, so the limit doesn't exist.

One-sided limits would be denoted by x -> 5– and x -> 5+ or similar.

PS: in complex analysis, there is no distinction between +infty and -infty, so there it would be correct to say the function has limit infty at 5.

I think I found the problem - my android version is too old for avif support. Gonna update. Thanks!

Turns out it's not actually corrupt, thanks! It seems Android 11 doesn't support AVIF and the image proxy on .zip converts all images to it. I'll update my phone.

Starting from a few months ago, images don't work on any android clients (Sync, Summit or Jerboa). I would like to get this acc to work again.

Other instances' (.world, nsfw) images load fine. This happens when using or not using a VPN. Images load fine when using alexandrite.

How would I even begin to debug this?
