J'ai installé linux (pop!_os) pour la premiere fois ce week-end sur un ssd externe et hier soir j'ai réussi à configurer Jellyfin dessus.

Et le plus beau, c'est que ca fonctionne super bien avec mon video-projecteur qui possède l'app.

Ca peut paraitre peu, mais je suis hyper fier ! =D

Good idea ! I will install it on an external HDD (I have a laptop), so if there is any problem my computer will still be safe. And once i'll will be use to it (in 6 months or a year maybe) I can fully install in in place of Windows ! It's a great advice ! Thank you !!!

Thanks for you answer. I'm a novice concerning linux. I wish too leave microsoft but i'm a bit afraid of breaking my computer.

So far i'm hesitating between mint and pop!_os in dual boot

Je suis passé sur signal pour remplacer whatsapp/discord. Première session de jeu hier soir, j'avais le casque branché au téléphone (pour tester au cas où j'aurai un pb avec la version desktop). Le son était cristallin !

Je pense qu'on va s'en tenir seulement à cette solution pour éviter de multiplier les canaux de discussion.

Hi ! I'm switching away from US tech. I started using the proton solutions. Do you have something against this company ? It's a genuine question.

I see a lot of options from European companies and being based in Switzerland and having encryption. Proton seemed to be a good way to start.

That would be so great. The security part missing from e/os is the only thing preventing me from buying Fairphone.
