I haven't messed with my raspberry pi in maybe a month... And I think one of my backups got corrupted because I receive an email saying that it failed along with tons of errors every night. Hmm, maybe I should get to that soon...

I find the belly very interesting. Looks almost like a huge cotton ball on an open wound, with the red coming from the outer parts. Was it intentional? How did you do it?

About Digi, here in Portugal it's a bit iffy. Sometimes calls don't arrive, mobile data doesn't work in the subway, along with some other nitpicks, but it's definitely gotten better since I started using it. I get unlimited data for fairly cheap which is cool.

It's not like I need to be connected to the internet at all times, so my biggest peeve is definitely the fact that for some ungodly reason whenever I stop getting mobile data I need to fully reboot my phone to get it back again. Turning mobile data on and off, or setting airplane mode on and off doesn't work for some reason.

But something to take into account is that (and this is purely anecdotal) coincidentally the moment I started using digi, I started getting spam calls en masse, specifically from Iberdrola. Most of the time once a day, but at some point it reached multiple times a day. I never answered, but would search the number online and see that it was spam. Though it could very much have been a coincidence, it still makes digi feel a bit sus to me. Rarely do I ever use it without a vpn.

sudo rm -rf ./ and sudo rm -rf . are, as far as I know, the same command. Did you mean that you dropped the . and ran sudo rm -rf /?

Fortunately for me, this never happened to me, but I have gotten pretty close to running rm -rf ~ after mistakenly creating a directory caller ~...

Hey all. Last time I searched about how to make LazyVim "just work" in nixos (which it didn't mostly because of mason and treesitter) was a few years ago, so maybe if I were to try to do it again nowadays I would find a better solution but anyway.

When I first switched to nixos, I already had my neovim config, and I wanted it to just work in my new system. I didn't want to rewrite it in nix or manually install treesitter grammar packages or lsps. Alas, due to nixos not following FHS, it didn't work.

So, a few days ago, here's what I seem to have found as a solution: Adding this:

        name = "nvim";
        multiPkgs = pkgs:
          with pkgs; [
            libz # For codelldb to work
            icu # For marksman to work
          ];
        targetPkgs = pkgs:
          with pkgs; [
            neovim
            # Whatever other things you need inside neovim
            gnumake # for compiling some plugins
          ];
        runScript = "nvim";
      })

To my environment.systemPackages.

Note that I wasn't using steam-run because I remember I got a ton of errors when I tried it a few years ago, though it seemed to work normally when I tried it just now. I still think that this is a better way to go about it than to use steam-run nvim every time, though. I also haven't tested this all that much, so it might have some sort of caveat I have yet to discover.

Hopefully this post helps someone.
