changed my life. and while the depth of the show is what people talk about most, it is light too, with constanta great sense of fun eg the multi-minute wordplay jokes like rhymes n alliteration the show would often do.

if you like it i am honestly happy to being it to you!
i don't like harpsichords, but i could forgive that and even enjoy the rest of the album if it weren't for her singing style. its something about the baby-talk voice, i hate it. i don't even know why i hate it, but it grates. some songs i hate and laugh, complain, joke about.
this one ill just leave the room, i cannot abide it. i got a little mad just listening to it for a moment when i linked it lol
I'm no bearologist but isn't this a grizzly bear, the more aggressive beariant?
when i hear "bad to the bone" i imagine it's a blitzed and stuttering george trying to get one last drink from the bartender in "one bourbon one scotch one beer"
i just listened to that track and it is aggressively hostile to ears
years ago my sister and i had a game takin turns finding the most annoying song to force the other to listen to. i discovered this song and won, by her admission, forever
if you don’t want to be assaulted.
you don't have to apologize, that's not my point. in fact i want you to quietly think about how what you said before, and just now might be wrong til it hits home for you.
i know it seems like im baiting an answer. its the net, arguing is fun, nothing's stopping you from replying, but I'm being straight with you. stop victim blaming. you're not stupid, im not saying you are. *please, stop. it only helps the oppressor, and we're all getting stomped by that boot.
i want you to know im not tryina bust your chops specifically. sure, i picked your comment to reply to, but it's nothing personal.
I'm also speaking broadly to the room, reminding everybody what we already know; that how we look at pervasive surveillance n how we got to live under it is absolutely broken.
i'd like to point out that it shouldn't be on women (or anyone) to be on constant guard against attacks on their privacy.
yes, it is the state of the world, but the attitude of your comment is victim blaming.
let's not forget that while we on Lemmy may be aware of the danger of mass surveillance tech, we're not the majority.
snowden told us years ago how fucked everything is, and surveillance has only grown since then. let's not forget that it is not normal that corpo data-mining is the norm (along with included de-facto warrantless surveillance). Even though we all should be better, nobody should have to be as careful as we are.
hell, let's be real. As long as we use a smartphone, we're not being careful enough either.
care to clarify who you mean by 'leftist'?
tanked
nice pun cuz iirc he was riding in one while wearing that helmet
yeah. let's say "ethical" work even exists and pays well. There aren't enough of em for everyone.
we are surviving in a system where no money = no basic needs. Ethics aren't a question when you work or you die.
