That's the thing on betting 400k on Maduro being out of power by the end of the month. It doesn't matter if you only bet 1k, it's still blatant insider trading.

You were lucky it wasn't the $250 circuit board that failed, which charged $50 for shipping.

Surely the world's leading advocate for vibe coding wouldn't have issues with code stability. This is only their second colossal issue this week!

But Apple told me in an ad that they're better for privacy?!?

Ils? Peut-être "nous"?

I had a TV in the bedroom, but removing it was one of the best choices I made. I liked the idea of creating TV-free spaces so much that I moved the TV out of the living room too. The living room is a social space, the TV room is a dedicated room to watch the TV. There is no context where "the TV is just on".

I'm impressed that they made another issue that's somehow bigger than casting Jonathan Majors.

There was a push back when HD was kinda new for 4-color TVs. I guess it would just reprocess 3-color data inputs into 4-color output or something. It seemed to die down when 4k caught on as the "next thing"

It does produce less CO2 for the equivalent energy release.

Even if range drops, if the price goes down and CO2 emissions go down too, it'll be a win. I'm virtually never worried about the range of a gas tank.

Unironically, I think this is what did her in. Not the line itself, but the fact that the DOW went back below 50k soon after. He doesn't really have much reason to fire her. I mean, she's an idiot and evil, but so is he, and that's kinda exactly the kind of person Trump wants on his team. Everyone Trump fires seems to make the following mistakes:

  1. They take too much spotlight from him
  2. They get caught making a quote that goes viral
  3. They get unlucky with their news presence for several weeks in a row

They never do something so bad that it can't be recovered from, Trump's certainly had worse moments in the news, but if you stay down for long enough, you'll get the chopping block. Ultimately, it's just kinda random bad luck that decides who stays and goes.

Renowned director Michael Bay has filed a $1.5-million lawsuit regarding Cadillac’s Formula 1 Super Bowl advertisement, claiming that Dan Towriss, the team’s CEO, and “his Cadillac F1 team have apparently stolen Bay’s ideas and work for the commercial, without paying for them,” according to the complaint recently filed in Los Angeles.

The Athletic obtained a copy of the breach-of-contract and fraud lawsuit, which was filed Friday. According to the complaint, Towriss approached Bay in November 2025 to request that Bay produce and direct the commercial. Bay, known for his films “Transformers” and “Armageddon,” has created Super Bowl advertisements before and has a 25-year-long relationship with the F1 team’s parent company, General Motors.

The purpose of the advertisement is to introduce Cadillac F1 in an “American” way, revealing the livery via a Super Bowl commercial and a Times Square multi-day activation. According to the complaint, “Towriss wanted to hire a renowned American director,” given that this is an American F1 team.

According to the complaint, during a Webex call before Bay was officially hired, Towriss mentioned different ideas to Bay, such as including a John F. Kennedy speech or whether the desert would be a good background. Bay, per the complaint, showed examples of work he has done that included these features, including “Transformers 3” and “Armageddon.” Bay claims that he presented his sales pitch two days later, and that Towriss allegedly said Bay was hired, saying, “OK, let’s get to work. I will let everyone know.”
