I'm willing to be open minded that a lot of shit I have heard about the DPRK is tainted by, or is straight up western propaganda. But is the hereditary dictatorship (essentially an absolute monarchy) in the DPRK one of the "some problems?"
Or is there a .ML justification for it? It really seems like a major problem that is incompatible with the goals and ideals of communism to me.
I doubt much of his audience cares about integrity.
Here in the us, you pretty much could only watch it on "BBC America" if you had cable TV. Sometimes it would be on Netflix I think, but always a year after it aired. So it was generally the pirates life for me.
Not gonna pay $100+ per month for cable to watch one show.
The D+ seasons are the only ones I didn't pirate out of convenience. I've been watching since the 2005 reboot. Every other episode I torrented, because trying to figure out when an how to watch/stream Doctor Who has always been a pain in the ass.
First thing that stands out is the lighting. He appears to be lit by a studio soft box but the rest of the room isn't. A lot of AI "photos" do this.
Second is the texture of the face has a plasticky appearance of AI smoothing. His eyes are also blurry in a way that doesn't make sense with the wide depth of field in the image.
It is otherwise pretty convincing. Its possible that its simply been run through some sort of AI enhancement filter, rather than being completely generated. Possibly an original selfie that someone prompted to generate an ape costume onto.
I can imagine the wrist schmoo building up around the edges now.

I've had my vivoactive 3 for 6 years and the only problem is the battery. When new it would last a week as a normal watch a solid 12 hours when GPS tracking.
Now its at best 36hrs between charges. About 1hr if i tried to GPS track with it.
When I look up replacement batteries not a single one has a good review.

I don't even understand how this is supposed to protect kids from child predators. Do child predators not want to hang out online where they can interact with kids? So not having age verification enabled keeps you siloed to where the kids are.... Meaning if anything it helps predators pretend to be kids better.
Now claiming it as a way to protect kids from porn... I guess makes more sense. Because we all know that sketchy porn sites care about laws.

I guess the gist is that on paper the Kims are not the absolute ruling family in the DPRK. It just seems that way from the outside due to the veneration they have among their people. Every western power really does seem to think Kim Jong Un is fully the head of state there. So its hard to not think the truth is somewhere in between.
Even if they really are legitimately elected. The whole concept of a family lineage of power makes me uncomfortable. I feel the same way about the Kennedys, Bushs, Clintons, etc.
