Estonian feds now have showed up to my flat in Tallinn, complete with an official search warrant, reiterating the reasoning being having the black-star SACP flag on my balcony since January, me having taken a photo with it in the border city of Narva on Victory Day (with the flag subsequently seized for criminal evidence) and "possession of possible extremist paraphernalia". As expected, they found nothing in violation of the law if possessed in private, but documented the multitude of USSR and Palestinian memorabilia (Ushanka, Red Army officer overcoat, Lenin banner, USSR flag, rolled-up South African and Palestinian flags, Keffiyehs, a Palestine sash, EFF beret and a large collection of books), likely to be used as evidence for who-the-fuck-knows. Of course, yet another pat-down too.

Apparently also the police have received complaints of me having this flag on my balcony from residents of adjacent apartment buildings since early January, only choosing to respond in early May. They still call it a "Soviet/Russian Federation/pro-Putinist" flag with zero nuance or context. The police in Tallinn are also waiting for the police in Narva to ship the confiscated flag to continue criminal proceedings. Plenty of liberal drivel to also deal with such as "7 October this and Hamas that, Soviet occupation of Estonia, mass starvation and gulags, Putin's genocide, Kremlin apologia, etc.", your typical "R*edditor/uKKKraine flag in bio" slop, really. The only irony was that the officers had "forgotten" their "Slava uKKKraine" patches. One of the cops also even called me a "traitor to my country" and a terrorist.

So it is confirmed true that I'm the first person to be politically persecuted for expressing support for the South African Communist Party in 32 years since the end of Apartheid, while in a "country" that freely allows the display of Banderite/blood-and-soil and even Azov flags in demonstrations.

Definetely Estonia, or any of the EU countries (with the exception of Spain and Ireland)

I get banned far too much so the matter is pretty much self-correcting, LMAO

I went to the border city of Narva to watch the Victory Day parade that was being held on the Russian side of the river in Ivangorod to salute the Red Army and sing along to the USSR anthem, bringing my keffiyeh, EFF beret and SACP flag. I had planned to take my flag out to wave it and unroll it in front of the Narva Castle, right beneath the wall of copium as a Red Army banger was playing, but ultimately decided against it because there was far too many cops everywhere. So I went to another castle retaining wall, behind some shrubs in a more secluded area away from the crowds to set up the flag there for a photoshoot and it was a pain enough as it is to keep the black-star SACP flag in frame, let alone keeping it from falling down from the castle wall after I had propped it up with some large sticks I found off the ground. I was eventually successful in getting a good enough shot of me sankara-salute in front of the flag and then packed up to watch the rest of the parade, at least until my bus back to Tallinn.

It was over an hour in after I was done, watching the parade when nearly 20 police officers and rapid response border patrol surrounded me and with 3 police cars, complete with camo, Magpul carrier pouches and Slava Ukraini patches (because of course) and I'm told that I was reported due to the rolled-up red flag in my travel bag - so merely posessing it, not even a public display. I get escorted to the opposite side of a police van, several photos taken and arrested by border security, taken to a police station over 3 kilometers away after the third squad car arrives on scene. Then I get patted down completely and taken in for questioning, with them going through my phone's camera roll and the items in my pockets. They take photos of some of the political memes and stickers from Palestine rallies, which I used as a bookmark and with one of the officers even stating "oh great, he's one of those Palestinian supporters too". They have not yet decided whether or not charged will be filed for "incitement, expressing communistic and pro-Putin/Kremlin sentiments", with possible hints at left-wing extremism. The arresting officers' main concern was that I may attract media attention from "adversaries". No word yet on previous complaints of having the SACP flag on my balcony. Police ended up confiscating the flag. So what I said about "being the first person to be arrested for expressing support for the SACP after the end of Apartheid" turned out to be true after all.

Putin please denazify the BaltiKKKs

redacted-1redacted-2 a Microsoft datacenter, probably

I had the black star-adorned flag of the SACP hanged on my balcony since January and only recently was informed by my landlord that multiple complaints have been levied to the police over the flag, though with not a single call, letter or any other form of contact until today afternoon. Allegedly, the complaints are from other residents in nearby apartment buildings, over the presentation of this "Russian Z-flag" and according to the landlord, I should be expecting a call/visit from the police yet again. I had already taken the flag down the day before in preparation to observe the 9th of May presentation on the Russian side across the river between Narva and Ivangorod, which also serves as the border between Estonia and Russia.

Note that according to the turboliberal Estonian law, only overtly pro-Russian symbols (such as the red-orange ribbons, Russian Federation flags and stylised Z insignias), symbols supporting "totalitarianism", genocide, crimes of humanity or hate/terrorist groups, are banned by law. There is no explicit ban on the USSR flag, or even the hammer-and-sickle; At most, these are "controversial" but not illegal.

I will of course attempt to challenge this in court, if push comes to shove. What also does make matters more problematic is I have family coming over from the Shaytan al-Akbar for the next 2.5 months. If I get arrested/fined for "Putin/Iran/Hamas apologia" or some bullshit, hastily moving back to South Africa when able may be the best move.

Ah shit, might have to wait until 25 November 2030 to see the total solar eclipse in Durban then

It's been here for over 2 months, noming flies at least.

Wait, is this straight-up plagiarized from Mein Kampf or the 1935 Nuremberg speech?

Also this is an actual excerpt on the US State Department website too.

29 December 2023 was probably the "official" death knell for international law - South Africa took the Apartheid Nazi colony directly to court due to their genocide and with a Western entity on trial for the first time ever according to the exact same laws they purport to uphold, it now collapses in on itself.

From Postimees (also known as CIA, NED, Radio Free Europe, r*ddit) with the original article title being along the lines of "alternative political perspectives fail to change mainstream views in Estonia".

CW: Estonian cringe translated into English for your reading displeasure"Estonian politics is to be the democratic Western civilization shielding against the authoritarian regimes like big scary Russia, China, Iran, North Korea and their satellites (they basically mean everyone in the Global South, especially BRICS). The border nations must be the aegis of Western civilization like piSSrael and uKKKraine, who are defending the free Western world with their blood."

He made "jokes" calling for the IDF to directly assassinate two members of the SAJFP Jo Bluen and Jared Sacks, who are participating in the Global Sumud Flotilla. Some hours later following a complaint filed by the SAJFP in response, the Sawubona Magazine (a South African tour guide) had him fired.

I was in a Palestinian rally about 2 weeks ago (9 August) and decided to bring along my SACP flag alongside the Palestinian flag I usually carry, waving both at the Estonian Foreign Ministry and carrying it along our path to a nearby park, with the intent to carry it through the Old Town and at the conclusion in front of the Riigikogu (Parliament).

Some random bystander was repeatedly saluting Elon Musk and about 10 minutes later, approached behind me to do the same thing, until he ultimately left. Another participant in our rally also took offense to me carrying the SACP flag, stating this is a pro-Palestinian rally and not a communism advocacy, oblivious to the critical role of specifically, the South African Communist Party's central role bringing Palestine to the world's attention following the end of Apartheid rule in South Africa.

Note that communist symbology such as the display of the hammer and sickle is not illegal under Estonian law. Some time later, I got approached by several police officers and escorted behind a police van that parked rather aggressively in the middle of Tammsaare Park (our destination after the Foreign Ministry) where we were rallying. I got held for questioning over having a flag with a hammer and sickle on it, with the officer running the usual liberal gambit of "totalitarian regimes and possible support of the Russian aggression in Ukraine", even though the hammer and sickle is not associated with the war and the symbology in question is not banned. I got held for some 15-20 minutes as the officers waited for backup and to decide how to proceed, with even the threat of a €600 fine because Estonians are hopelessly ignorant of politics outside of KKKracker-washed narratives slop, this even according to the officer (obviously the cop didn't say KKKracker, lmfao). Eventually I was let go and allowed to proceed with a warning, under the condition of rolling up the flag and not waving it. Good thing they didn't notice the dozen USSR and Lenin pins on my EFF beret, else I'd have a lawsuit in excess of €5,000 for something that is legally permissible.

Also the person who reported me to the cops was the same dude doing the Elon Musk salute, a gesture which actually is outlawed in Estonia.

Seriously not beating the allegations. Death to piSSrael.
