The Aurora Store is still updated, they just had a rewrite of their UI a few weeks ago. Their F-droid client had stopped getting updates in 2021 but recently work has resumed with a new 2.0 version, so both are currently supported actively

Its the default of /e/os and only meant to be used with it. Its based on the Aurora library that allows access to google play apps and combines it with their own mirror of the main F-droid repo
If you're using Firefox for Android and have Ublock installed you open the Ublock menu and either select the element zapper (temporary) or element picker (permanent) to remove website objects
