The short answer is size. Longer answer is because of how the compression works and it's not what it was designed for. PNG are more suited to graphics.

 

Not going to get my hopes up, but at least they got written up and put on paper.

png is completely the wrong format for photos.

How I read that is that it's most likely that an explosion from below (torpedo) was the type of attack used.

Been seeing a lot of posts using avif for file formats. Am I just doing my old man shaking his fist at the sky routine or can we go back to using easier to share formats?

 

Moving the /freeflight community over here from Lemm.ee, since that instance is shutting down. I hope to see more involvement here!
