I was born the same year episode 6 came out, so I was 16 when Phantom Menace came out, and grew up loving the original trilogy. And my teenager brain enjoyed the Phantom Menace too. Yeah, Jar Jar was annoying and the CGI was jarring sometimes, especially growing up watching the practical effects they used in the originals, but I still loved it. I just really think they should have aged Anakin up in TPM though, he should have been a teenager instead of a kid because it just made the scenes with him and Padme really weird.
Can we bring back these? (╯°□°）╯︵ ┻━┻
I still haven't finished Breath of the Wild. I think I pretty much did everything else in the game that by the time I should have gotten to the final boss but by that time I felt I had gotten enough out of the game and if it was going to just be the same kind of battle as the other two boss battles I wasn't interested. I really enjoyed the game, just didn't care to finish it 😅
Is that the 3rd one in the series? I gave up on that one too. I loved the first two. But getting the hang of using the batmobile frustrated me and, like you, I decided I didn't like the game enough to finish it. I think I gave up pretty early on in the game though.
Castiel was originally supposed to get killed off after one of the early seasons and If I recall correctly, that angel Anna(I might be wrong in which angel, but it was one of the women) was supposed to be the character Castiel became. But the fandom loved Castiel and didn't like the other angel so they got rid of her and kept Castiel. Then they next thing you know the fandom is shipping all the men together. Even Sam and Dean.
I like Metallica's version but I don't like the music video for it. I'm pretty sure the song is supposed to be about a band on the road and they made the music video about a single mom stripper/hooker(?) that was on the road. It really just didn't match with all the lyrics. But that's just how I feel about it. It doesn't seem to bother anyone else.
Idk if you watch SNL but this past Saturday they had that actor come on and play Kash in the opening skit.
Yay! Someone else remembers Danger Mouse! I had my mom make me a danger mouse costume for Halloween. It was my favorite Halloween costume I'd worm as a kid.
I adored Denver the last dinosaur when I was little. That and Danger Mouse were two of my favorites.
I got a 7 day ban a few months ago because someone posted some NSFW spam to one of the niche subs I frequent so I jokingly said "that ass needs to be slapped" and within a minute I got the ban for "inciting violence". Reddit has gotten absolutely ridiculous with bans at the admin level.
