I've got one by LG and like it pretty well. The microwave is great. The air fryer is slightly lower temp then I'd like and so takes longer then a dedicated device, but it will eventually get the job done (a batch of tater tots for 2 people takes about 30 minutes to get right, but they do come out pretty good). As a connection oven it is great and I've enjoyed being able to do small cook jobs without the need to heat up the oven (I've made cupcakes in it multiple times).

it is definitely worse then a good counter top convection oven and air fryer combo, but I don't have the counter space for that (which is also why I wanted to get rid of my original air fryer).

All in all, it isn't as good as I was HOPING it would be (and was stupidly pricey), but I would buy it again if it broke. Based on reviews, I got the best one made (as far as I could tell) for an over-the-range choice.

It has a setting to both convection bake and microwave at the same time but I've never found a reason to try it.

This isn't the outlet, it's the plug that goes into the outlet. Presuming you had it would fit into (the plugs are oriented wrong), it would be about as safe as shoving a fork in instead.

White, black, and green coming up the wire. Black to black, white to white, green to ground (not applicable with this type of plug). As wired it would flip the circuit breaker virtually instantly but, if you are really lucky, electrocute you or start a fire with that extra green cord sticking out.

Definitely do it. It is a great feeling and helps them. Don't let the fear of being scammed prevent you from helping people.

I live in Los Angeles, I see homeless people regularly and give regularly. When I don't have much money I don't give much, when I have more I give more. I actually specifically got the ATM and make sure to carry $5 and $20 bills specifically for this. I am lucky enough that I can afford to give what I do but I regularly give people$20.

When I see this question I can only be sad for people who can consider it perplexing. Yeah - if you have a sufficiently boring muffin and a sufficiently dense cake, you could see them as pretty similar but ... eat better food.

Put some good stuff in your muffins (blueberries, poppy seeds, nuts, chocolate, etc) and learn to keep your cakes lighter and fluffier (especially for cupcakes) instead of rich like a muffin.

As others have said, they are different batters, the cooked result of both should be pretty noticeably different with it without frosting.

That article makes it clear it is less harmful.
