I'm using Lemmy's built in crosspost functionality. Blame Nutomic for the fact it's duplicated across your feed. A better developer would have made it so crossposts only get delivered to the feed once. In fact, I think Piefed has that feature already iirc

No, and I see your point. Sorry for forgetting that we're stronger together. I'm making a stand right now and saying Nutomic is a fake socialist who values power over fairness, and his erasure of indigenous communism is deeply racist. He should also be fired for his denial of genocide.

Maybe, but I'm trying this anyway and I hope you'll sign the petition too. We've got nothing to lose by trying to appeal to Dessalines' better nature. And hey, if Dessalines can't be convinced, this petition would be a really handy tool for convincing other people to switch to Piefed. The next step after a petition is a boycott.

Nutomic is paid a full time salary to develop Lemmy from donations to the project. I even got a message from him at the top of my feed the other week asking for money. It was like the Wikipedia donate banner, except it said it was from Nutomic. He's not actually in charge of the project, though, Dessalines is. Dessalines could fire Nutomic if he wanted. I think we should all ask Dessalines to fire Nutomic for transphobia

Well, I think people who support fascists trying to coup the government deserve to be shot, and people who encourage millions not to get vaccinated against deadly plagues also deserve to be shot.
