Actual question: why don't Americans just transfer money using a normal baning app? I just have to open the app of my bank. Enter the IBAN, name and amount, confirm and the money will be sent pretty fast. No need for either party to use any third party app.

Die Begründung dafür ist, dass Trump Maßnahmen zur tatsächlichen Beendigung des Krieges ergreifen könnte, dies aber nicht will, weil es kostspielig wäre. Stattdessen gibt er vor, sein Versprechen, den Krieg zu beenden, durch viel leeres Gerede zu erfüllen. Und Putin macht offensichtlich mit, weil er so seinen Krieg fortsetzen kann.

I am not advocating for it, but the EU at least tries to make it as anonymous as possible. They want to allow different trusted parties like banks or government agencies to give out certificates that can then be used to verify your age. So at least the end platforms don't get any private information
