That’s quality printing, hasn’t Sun bleached at all

I bet the window has an anti-UV coating on it too.

Has to be UV ink and on the north side of the building.

SOURCE: Managed a print shop making stuff like this.

No one has paid to replace it or has the money to do so. I faced this challenge in bike shops with advertising media. It is risky to accept large stuff like this from brand reps. It comes down to a plan and the level of investment in the product. Looks like someone bought in and had no long term plan for the space. Looks like a business on the threshold of black to red finances.

There's a Comcast store near me that still has a window ad for Superman Returns in the window. It's still there because they moved out and no one else moved in since, but I like to think it's because someone really loved the movie.

There was a Party City that closed around here, and they left the window display, a Halloween store moved in for October. They reused the signage, just painting fangs and Frankenstein bolts onto the kids in the pictures. Of course, as soon as October was over, they disappeared, so now there are just evil kids in the abandoned windows.

Whoa, 3 and ODST absolutely rule, and Reach is great if you aren't a purist. Especially Reach's forge mode, that shit was the bee's knees back in the day

[–] Grass@sh.itjust.works 1 points 6 months ago

I wasn't inlcuding odst, and was reach the one that opens in a helicopter with the invisible elite on the ground? Those get a pass. None of the numbered releases after 2 did it for me though

[–] Xttweaponttx@sh.itjust.works 1 points 6 months ago

Perfectly said. God Reach's multiplayer holds up well

Whoa there, unpopular opinions belong in a different community you absolutely incorrect person.

I dunno man, the flip flopping on the weird cortana fixation got old fast

[–] sleep_deprived@lemmy.dbzer0.com 5 points 6 months ago (1 children)

That was 4 and beyond, really. Cortana isn't even in 3 except little snippets until you grab her from High Charity in the second to last level.

[–] Grass@sh.itjust.works 2 points 6 months ago

It must have been me hoping that cortana would reprise her role in 3... aside from odst and seemingly reach, the only thing I remember is how much of a slog the cortana hallucinations or whatever that was and the didact part being somehow even less enjoyable

[–] Harvey656@lemmy.world 3 points 6 months ago

Wasn't that 4 and 5?
