Leftist Infighting

It's not so much who he supports but rather what he supports. He supports entryism into the Democratic party as his main strategy. He's still on that 2020 "harm reduction" bullshit copium. This isn't to say socialists can't or shouldn't engage with electoralism, but every serious socialist agrees that it is absurd to do so under the banner of a bourgeois neoliberal party hoping that you can somehow "push it left", "make it better", "take it over from the inside" or whatever.

That's not how this works and we have seen over and over again that it doesn't work. You don't change the party, the party changes you. No matter how good your intentions are, as soon as you become part of that toxic ecosystem you start to become co-opted and corrupted. Socialists have to have their own independent party. It is absolutely useless to keep voting for people who candidate under the Democrat label, especially now that parties like PSL exist, all you're doing is prolonging the uniparty's life.

Also, Hasan has a serious Russia derangement syndrome and supports Ukraine, which besides aligning him with imperialist NATO and its proxy war on one of the main pillars of the multipolar world (Russia is an essential supporter of Cuba, Iran, the Sahel States, and China's energy lifeline), basically means he is on the same side as literal Nazis bent on ethnic cleansing. Which makes him a hypocrite every time he advocates for Palestinians, because Ukraine is on the same exact shit as Israel.

The Banderites are just as racist and genocidal as the Zionists, they are also armed and funded by the West, you constantly find them aiding Zionist-sponsored terrorism around the world, they are just as in love with assassinations, destroying infrastructure and terrorizing civilians, and they openly brag about wanting Ukraine to be a "bigger Israel". And yet Hasan continues to take their side and give credence to anti-Russian propaganda narratives.

I don't know if he's just stupid and ignorant, if he has some irrational bias against Russia, or if he's just trying to please his liberal audience and friends, and i don't really care. The fact is that he is not a consistent anti-imperialist, and he would rather support a bourgeois party than build a socialist alternative despite the fact that we have seen time and time again that "lesser evil" politics is a dead end when you just keep playing the game the bourgeoisie wants to you play.
