It takes a few tries before the anti cheat message went away for me. But it'll still come back eventually. I would suggest not using your main account.
Isn't that expected? The Steam login shouldn't work unless you use Steam.
No, I mean the error pops up as soon as the launcher opens, not when you try to login through Steam. My point is that it detects that you're running the client through Steam, so it's even more likely that A Steam release isn't far off.
