Hades 2 is our game of the year, even though we didn't give it a bestest best review at launch.

A Hades 2 mod has added Zagreus' underworld escape from the first Hades as a run route in the sequel, letting you play Hades 1 in Hades 2.

Hades 2's first post-launch patch is out now in Steam preview form, and has seen Supergiant add to the game's true ending.

I'm playing it right now after a year of not playing early access (I decided to wait until full release). It's so much more polished and I'm glad I waited, from the get-go I noticed combat is a lot smoother, and all the menus and art have been improved.

Now it's out of early access, Hades 2 is a very strong sequel that builds on its predecessor's strengths and offers an enrapturing godly grind.

Hades 2 version 1.0 finally got a release date at the latest Nintendo Direct, and drops later this month.

Hades 2 devs Supergiant have put out another early access patch for the game, having said the previous one would likely be the last before full release.

Supergiant Games say Hades 2's patch 10 "will likely be our final patch before our v1.0 launch".

We now can confirm we're planning for Hades II to launch in Early Access in Q2 2024 on Steam and the Epic Games Store. We'll have more details on the exact date, pricing, and system requirements closer to that time.
