In 2019, Riot Games reshaped European League of Legends by replacing the EU LCS with the LEC and introducing a franchised system. While the move was framed as a step toward stability and long-term growth, it also marked the end of promotion and relegation, and the beginning of sold league slots.

  • All Premium subscriptions are canceled with pro-rated refunds
